PJs and a pug

Because when you sew, you can match your pyjamas to your pet.

If you can, why wouldn’t you? My daughter has a pug so I couldn’t walk past this (cotton) fabric at the Lincraft sale. I thought some simple PJ trousers that my daughter could wear with a pink or black top.

I traced a pattern from a pair of my PJs. I used some of my favorite gingham-look bias for a piping effect on the cuffs:

I made a draw-string with some elastic and some left over polka-dot grossgrain ribbon I had. How good is polka-dot grossgrain?

Here’s Charlie posing with the pugjamas again. What a good dog!

Have you ever made clothing to match your pet? Maybe it’s only ok for lounging at home garments.
