style arc for the #inseasonsilkcomp

Perfect for autumn, this lovely crepe de chine! I’ve made something for  Tessuti’s #inseasonsilkcomp.

I wanted something to show off the softness and drape of this luscious silk. This is Style Arc’s Suzie’s Sisters Top. The pleats and the tucks show off the silk nicely.

Turns out it’s perfect for work in Canberra’s lovely crisp autumn. barbarajanemade#inseasonsilkcomp.jpeg

I just happened to have the perfect buttons lurking in the stash. These cam from Luccello’s.barbarajanemade#inseasonsilkcomp.jpeg

I really like the Style Arc pattern. I used the paper pattern, no tracing! and it fit straight out of the pack. A nice simple design, with minimal but fine instructions.

I used the interfacings to line the facings for a nice clean finish inside. Also French seams, except for the armscye, which are overlocked.barbarajanemade#inseasonsilkcomp.jpeg

Are you entering the #inseasonsilkcomp?

Good luck if you are and happy stitching.

  1. Such a lovely blouse Barbara!

Your photos are captivating! I’m suddenly craving autumn and yet we’re barely into our spring season here. I swear, every since informed me of some family having lived in Australia, I’ve felt this yearning to be there!
